Tweeting and blogging.
Hi everyone! This is a huge first for me. Not only is this my first blog post ever, but I also tweeted for my first time today too. Honestly, I used to be against twitter. I didn't get the point of it. Then, during volleyball season last year all I heard about was twitter and "hashtags". I had some of my volleyball girls explain it to me, and I have to admit, it seemed pretty interesting. My track team also has a twitter account that they use to post live results of meets and keep kids informed. Then after watching the video about what twitter is, it all made sense!! And now, I am really excited to get involved with it. I hope to use it for my teams and for my physical education students as well. So feel free to follow me @sarraahhcc.
Higher education and blogging.
After reading the article for blogging, I now have a new sense of how beneficial it can be to learning. It can be used as a form of information and ways for people to connect with things they do everyday. You learn a lot from doing, but you can also learn and take away from others who are sharing what they are doing as well. Blogs are the gateway for that. They are a form of connecting people whom you may not have ever known otherwise.
Microblogging.
Microblogging is something that I have been doing for a while on Facebook. But I am going to have to get used to Twitter. I'm not a fan of when people retweet what other people have posted. It seems to get somewhat overwhelming.
I used to be able to do that!
This in an article about the benefits of weight training as we get older. Check it out!

Pepper.
This is my dog Pepper. Most people think I named her Pepper because she is black, but her full name is actually Pepper Jack after my favorite cheese. She is smart and loves car rides. This is a picture of her enjoying one of those car rides.
This is my first experience with Flickr, but not my first experience with photo sharing. The app the I used to take this picture with is called Instagram. I really like Instagram and I use it a lot!
